WIT ON SHOW AT THE BEST OF DC'S 48
POSTED 5.29.08
iLoveU2, witfilms' entry in to this year's 48 Hour Film Project. But while iLoveU2 may be the "official" WIT entry in to the competition, as usual, it ain't the only WIT game in town... there are several films screening with WIT talent on both sides of the camera.
JINX players Jordan and Amanda Hirsch, Aparna Nancherla, and Greg Tindale team up with Jackie's Ken Hays in the Sean Murphy-directed The Dinner Party from River Run Films.
You'll also want to check out JINX's Michelle Swaney in The Quest's Spy, Gina, Spy!, directed by WIT student and local improviser Christopher Anderson. WIT board member William Hancock also has a topless scene in the film.
iMusical's Karen Lange appears in Sprezzatura's The Bad News Bearers, while fellow troupe member Letty Tomlinson can be seen in Musky Adventures' The End of the Rainbow along with WIT student and local improviser Pam Nash.
That's a lot of good WIT in a lot of great films. You should be impressed. We sure as hell are.
Be sure to get your tickets now and support the teams this Thursday night at 7:00 and 9:30 at the AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring, MD.
The revolution will be improvised.
